Abby started Golden Leash Pet Care (originally named Abby’s Pet Services) in 2017 after pet sitting for local friends and neighbors. Abby’s background is based in Emergency Medicine with a specialization in Tactical Paramedicine. She eventually followed her passion of pet care, switched career paths and hasn’t “worked” a day since! Abby loves spending time with her clients and thrives in the dynamic business environment. She has a GoldenDoodle named Archer, and a love for travel and coffee. 

 

What energizes you? “Meeting new people. Exercising. Inspiring others to follow their dreams. I have a pretty ambitious mentality so I enjoy setting goals and finding ways to achieve them.” 

 

What is your passion? 

"Anything creative. I enjoy creative writing, crafting, gardening, reading.. anything that allows my mind to wander! I am also an avid runner. I am in the process of completing a marathon in every state alongside my Husband,  Adam!”

Lauren lives in Pottstown, PA and has worked with animals in many capacities over the years. Between grooming, training and being in the field as a walker herself prior to taking on operations, she has tons of experience taking care of animals and their people. Lauren loves her role, working closely with clients to schedule care for their furry family, as well as leading the team with a positive, supportive leadership style. 

 

When Lauren isn't at her computer doing scheduling tetris, she can be found spending time with her husband, Michael, daughter, Lainey and dogs, Brody & Bryce. You will also likely catch her at the barn with her newest addition, Bubba, her ex-racehorse and bestie! 

 

What is your passion?:

My passion is leading a happy, healthy and balanced life. I am grateful to have such a supportive work environment as well as a supportive partner to make this possible! 

 

What energizes you?:

Horseback riding, being around people I love and, let's be real, Starbucks!

Katrina joined Golden Leash as a client years ago and loved the team and experience so much that she became a team member herself! She loves meeting new clients (human and 4-legged) and especially loves the long exercise walks. Katrina has 3 dogs and 3 cats that rule her own household! In her free time, Katrina enjoys reading, trying new recipes, traveling + spending time with her friends and family.

Alex started working at Golden Leash Pet care in 2019 and it has been a passion of hers ever since. Alex’s full time career path is in school counseling. She loves taking care of the clients and their fur babies + the team as our "Team Mom!!"

My name is Emma, but my friends call me Em. I live in Bridgeport PA where I was raised my whole life. I work full-time as a Project Manager for an industrial based platform. My hobbies include adventuring, fitness, and the challenge of learning a new skill. My love is consumed by my dog, Dude. He's got lots of nicknames and his favorite is Dudey Patoody. His hobbies contain less activity as he gets older and more snacking on carrots. But he LOVEs jeep rides with the doors off and his favorite thing is snow!

Hi! My name is Mikayla. I live in East Norriton and started working for Golden Leash Pet Care in 2024. I’ve had a lifelong passion for animals, and I love getting to work with them. When I’m not dog walking, I’m traveling and creating amazing experiences as an event planner in my full-time job!

Maggie lives in Skippack, PA and has had a lifelong passion for animals. She has several years of experience working with dogs, cats, and horses. She also enjoys dog training and has taught her dog, Ghost, many tricks! Maggie’s goal as a pet sitter is to provide the best pet care possible and to treat every pet in her care as if they are her own. 

 

In her free time, Maggie enjoys riding horses and competing in horse shows, going to concerts, and spending time with her dog and two cats.

Hi! My name is Emily and I live in Pottstown with my little pup, Daisy. I also have 2 kitties, Lily and Leo so lots of fur babies to love! I am currently enrolled in a dog trainer program and can’t wait to begin training soon! I have experience with dog handling at  various shelters and dog daycares. I am very dedicated and responsible and treat all pups as if they were my own. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family and also doing research on dog behaviors. Of course I also love to binge watch tv shows and watching scary movies.

I live in West Norriton, PA. I’ve always loved animals of all kinds. Currently our family includes a flock of four budgies, one of whom was rescued from a park in West Chester. Needless to say it gets very loud in our living room. My background is in IT Operations/Tech, making a variety of devices from computers to phones to printers and others behave the way people need them to, making tools work for people not the other way around. 

 

What energizes me? I love having a puzzle to solve or needing to learn something new to accomplish a goal, especially if that goal can help others.

 

What is my passion? I love learning, experimenting with technology, finding cool things to do and learn about with my kids and attempting to train our birds.

Hello, my name's Trevor! I live in Downingtown with my boyfriend and our two cats- my girl Merle (pictured) and his girl Nidalee! I love all things horror, spooky and Halloween- Fall is the best time of year, in my opinion. I'm also a freelance artist and beginner photographer, and I sell my art and jewelry at various art markets in Lancaster every month! I've been around animals my entire life and have always had cats, I can't see myself ever not having one.

What energizes you?

Spending time with my daughter, my boyfriend, and/or my best friend who lives in Texas (but we call all the time!) Going on daily walks helps a lot, with some video game time at the end of the day too.

I love doing photography, gardening, and drawing. Being creative with my arts keeps me going every day.

I currently live in Conshohocken and nanny in Villanova. I’m a big animal lover and have a dog and three cats of my own. I love going to the gym and being active outside and getting all the Vitamin D I can. The kids on in school during the day, so helping other people with their four legged loved ones was a perfect fit for my life.

Chester University in December and am currently in the process of finding a full time teaching

position. In my free time, I love spending time with family and friends, going to Phillies games,

As a teacher, I’m energized by connection building trust, creating structure, and making each

Riding on the boat and Philadelphia Sports. Archer loves to take photos for our social media and be the practice pup at our in-person trainings. He is everyone's best friend!
